How washing machines are invented... and other things they don't tell you in Home Alone movies
Its home alone day 2!!
I'm dead certain its the europeans/americans who invented the washing machine!! My justification: U see its them who have the culture of children moving out to live on their own upon the age of 18 or so right. Then these kids-turned-adults find living alone so troublesome with laundry and cooking and cleaning up the house that they invent, TA-DAH, the WASHING MACHINE!!! Like omg with mummy at home you wont find how wonderful this machine is when compared to HANDWASHING omg my hands are going to look in worse condition then those guys who hardcore gym lah.Soap and water sure can damage ur skin more than heavy weights.
Anyway it kept raining today so greg didn't come. He'll probably come in the afternoon but anyway i dumbly still went to put my clothes into the washing machine and by the time it was done the rain hadn't stopped yet so i had to hang them indoor. And i realised I WASHED THE WRONG PILE!!!! i washed my family's clothes instead (i had a separate for my own this 5day stay-alone) >< And then one of those bamboos(ok, they're not made of bamboos) actually slipped into half its original size when i held up it upright! omg Mr. Bamboo can u please stand up straight? Make me cannot hang clothes haiz.
Regardless, its smth i havent done in quite a while. So here are the photos, just for the memories:
All clothes hung up, with the fan on just to dry them aint i smart =)
oh yes and this is Mr. Midget Bamboo at the left of the pic.
And its still raining so i'm kinda lazy to walk downstairs to eat so I'll COOK!!!!! yes u heard it right, COOK!! Myself! hahaha cuz i won't risk a stomachache trying lasagne from some unknown cook :P Cooking brown rice is easy peasy stuff, then i'll just open some canned curry chicken and heat it up and maybe open some other canned stuff later if its not enough. Not exactly Healthy Lifestyle but nvm i'll supplement it with some eggs and fruits later on if i'm hungry.
Alright now back to my zuo wen. I'll finish it oh yes i will. Clap clap clap!!!
