A better Man
wow, i must have done more sihuoti over the past 3 days than i've done all year. Wheee.
Saturday had to go back to sch for Founders Day. Geez, just last year it was held in the Albert Hong Hall, man, just last year the AHH was still there. How time flies.
After that me ian bp went to Thai Express to eat. yummy ain't too bad. Geez guess what Ian said!! smth like, "must thank us for saving you from being friendless.." -----> =_=""
Friendless?
hmmm.
I've all along appreciated my own personal space. Eating alone is nothing uncommon to me, right down from primary one. Friends? I used to have that 'Best Friend' kinda thingo. Primary 1 was a certain Daniel, who won't be easy to track since i forgot his surname. Primary 2 was a Ryan Chia. Primary 3 was Jonathan James Ng(its a mouthful, just call him Ng) and primary 4 was Marcus chew. And then on its more of a bunch of frens. like zhiyang and shane for p5 &6 then sec 1 &2 its hongjie, fahd, rahul etc haha come to think of it my sec 1&2 class was really great. jmx and mingquan were excellent in chair and vice positions. Oh my. Not that it was very well disciplined, but hey i liked it.
sheesh i'm being so narrative (tang will say, lit don't narrate so much, must have points!). Ok so anyway this yr class aint too bad either. HZ is a gd fren. Zijian has excellent drive and its always nice to listen to his ideas, i mean, his thinking is unique, though of cuz there'll be times where i disagree with them. Joshua heng too, my lab partner, his way of talking, its quite different from the rest, perhaps cuz he has lived in so many other countries before.
But still, generally there isn't the feeling of close frenship. And you don't always have to be in same class to be close fren's there just needs to be a bond. Like me and ben, we both love weiqi. And huixiang aaron hj jw... we all didnt go far in bball.
hmmm. haven't came to anything substanstial, have i? nvm then.
Anyway it was a good statement to make. I always felt that holidays were good time to plot the path forward and start working on your goal to get the momentum going, and of cuz before that you'll have to reflect on the past. Its not as if my bad grades, poor skin, non-existent abs and not-as-good-as-it-should-be weiqi has not gave me anything to think about. heh. Plenty to ponder, and i better emerge, a better man.
