"Ae fond kiss and we sever"

"Ae fond kiss and we sever"- thats like what i'd say come 4 months time, when Mr. Prometheum Day comes knocking, that is, when its time to hand over leadership, for me, its the chess club post i'd have to pass on.

But for now, "I'm loving it!" is more appropriate.

Yesterday was GE open house and it was a fun day. Not that there were no slip ups. There was. To begin with, i forgot to inform Mark and the ichess ppl of the change in time, causing them to come 1hour earlier, buts not too bad, cuz they used to time to set up the icchess part of our notice board. The place overall was well set up! yaye. i took one photo, gonna upload 'em all together when i've got the time.

The p6s response wasn't ideal. But we still did what we can. When no one wanted to play us nor attempt solving our puzzles, we switched to playing games among ourselves, a la Exhibition Game style, so that some P6s would watch and then we can ask 'em if they want a game =) Which didn't exactly work wonders either, but hey, its better then us sitting there and staring into blank space.

Yiheng said if NYPS wins Shoutan cup again, they'll get to keep it, so we were deciding whether to go there or not.We had enough ppl behind to man the two boards, but then Ben and Jiahong had to leave early, so i got Roger to come back to weiqi for the time being. By the time i decided it was like, 3, and when we arrived the whole thingo was over, and they were preparing for prize presentation o.O . Saw jojo, but there was no sign of wl wc nor serene, geez ppl do move on with other things in life fast. Next time i go back swa after the overall Open House, i'll recall 2yrs ago when after my first open house, i went to swa with junyu and saw jojo and co. Now its like... 人面不知何处去，桃花依旧笑春风。sigh. Oh ya saw Alison as well, who apparently was trying to hide her identity cuz i called her there and she pressed away the phone lol. then i asked jojo and then when pointed out, she like sneaked away... Hahaha. it kind of reminds me of 2yrs ago when jojo came up and ask me if i'm the 'hmph' in KGS and i was like, 'yeah', then shyly slithered off to the sound of their giggle. Now its others who's running away from me. Can this be considered progress? =)

So anyway with nothing much left to do, we went to talk to the P6s and other prize winners, basically urging them to come ri ("RI DOES have a weiqi club!!!!). Will it come to anything? I'm not sure, but at least i've done something towards furthering my club's cause.

Went back to RI after that for debrief and omg yiheng left his hp in the taxi! but we kept our cool, called the driver (who had by then picked up another passenger). Yiheng had to wait, but got his hp back eventually :)

We went for movie after that, Mark, Roger, Aaron Tan, Junyu and myself, and later aaron chenz joined us. We planned to watch MI3 but then there was only 3 tickets left so we changed plan and watched Over the Hedge instead. we couldnt reached chenz so we got the ticket for him anyway but when he came he was like, watch Over the Hedge??? =.="" lol. But the movie itself was funny lah. The plot wasn't anything out of the ordinary but then it was funny.

Couldn't quite sleep last night, maybe too high or what. oh yeah was thinking abt some time back, maybe sec 1 or 2 when we went back nyps to Mrs Tham's class and mrs tham was like asking us to advertise our school to these kids. So i was like thinking of what i'd say if i had the chance again. Gonna be considerably different from what i said in the past. Anyway, all these 'nightdreaming' resulted in me waking at 12 today. oh yeah owl was mentioned in the newspaper! lol.

Ok today's tuition is the last one before the tuition center takes a 1 month break. FINALLY! =)
