Get out of that hole, you
As an afterthought, slacking off last week probably wasn't too good an idea.
After crashing out of the race to rep sg in world ama youth go championship, then having floorball for 3 days in a row (1 training session whr coach cut ppl, 1 friendly and 1 day of 3 on 3 tournament) and picking up a back injury along the way, sidelining me for the rest of the holi with nothing to do but hw and nothing to dwell upon but failure.
So i decided Term 2 Week1 will be my holiday, Version 2.0 --> bad idea.
Actually, it wasn't ridiculous to take week 1 easy. After all, there was no official floorball training and no essays in the periphery. But 2 sessions of floorball-for-fun, a swim and pool outing(with who else but good ol ben and chenz), a botched p6 class gather and a canoe PT later, i'm in a deeper hole than before.
No no i'm not up to my neck with homework. Just that the winner, go-getter mentality that i thought i possessed, simply cannot be located.
Same story last night after weiqi and this whole morn and afternoon. Doodling away precious time. So i canned my workout this evening and set about planning a weekly timetable.
I've done it many times before, and it seldom succeeds. But what it does is to get me into this strict mode of thinking, instilling discipline and considering the worth of every minute i spent. i know i can afford to be laxer than what my schedule dictates, but i'll follow strictly for this week, just to get the mindset back.
We'll see how things go.
I'm all for it, high-intensity stuff. Make the most of every minute, make ém count, cuz the clock's ticking away and i'll be out of time, so go , get something done.
